ABOUT
Frequently asked questions! Please read before asking me anything.
Who are you and where do you live?
I'm CMYK, but you can call me Myk (pronounced like Mick). I'm 20 years old as of 2022, my birthday is on April Fools and I live in many people's hearts (I do not pay rent). they/them works.
What program do you use to model?
Blender, it's free!
What Program do you animate with?
MikuMikuDance, It's simpler and quicker to use for me, it's a hellish program with a lot of limitations, but that works with my aesthetic.
Are you doing commissions?
Nah, at least not yet. There's some areas I want to improve on before distributing any of my work.
Can I find you elsewhere?
Only on Toyhou.se, I'm not looking for a following. I thought sharing dumb little polygons here would be swell.
Why?

Why?
I've always had this fascination with working around limits and nothing exemplifies it better than outdated video games.
I wouldn't be able to say when this fascination started exactly, I did grow up with both consoles of the time and older ones my uncle would let me play with to distract my little hamster wheel mind from downloading more viruses to his computer.
But one of the memories that stand out the most to me was this time I was playing Super Mario 64 for the first time, and little me lost their mind when they realized the bomb-ombs' bodies where just a png of a circle. I though it was genius from Nintendo to do that then, and I still do now. From, I think, then I began to pay more attention to video game graphics and their sneaky tricks. I would draw little characters with only straight lines like they were little video game models and rent a ton of games from Blockbuster and just,,, stare at those little triangular blobs.
Fast forward 2020, and I finally started learning 3d modeling as a little side hobby. Unfortunately, I don't have that much free time, so I don't do it as often as I'd like to, but I'm glad to be able to share this mess of mine.
